Woooo Friday! Today is my last day of "work" for the year and I'm excited. We've got a communication meeting at 10, and then lunch at a nearby Holiday Inn after that, then we get to go home!
It's also bake table day, which is awesome. One of the guys brings in most of the things, and there are some real winners this year. There's this amazing apple dip with cream cheese, caramel and toffee bits. Omg I die.
We've off tomorrow to visit with various family and won't really be home and settled until late on the 26 th, so Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday's to everyone!

I am working today and even though I would love to be at home in the bed its going to be a good day at work. I am only working until lunch and there are only about 15 people here in the whole building. Only 3 in my office.
I got a good bit done last night and I am hoping to go home and get cleaning done in the boys room before santa comes Saturday night. We have christmas with my mom's side of the family tonight and I am also hoping to get a bath and blow dry and straighten my hair before we head to my maw-maw's house. I am off work tomorrow and we have christmas with the in laws. It is going to be a busy next few days but I am so excited about all of the holiday gatherings with family.

Today is also my last day of work for the year. So far I've seen 2 other people in my building. I definitely won't be sticking around all day. I have way too much to do when I get home. I got a lot of wrapping done last night but I still have more. I also need to cook my Christmas Eve meal.
Tomorrow we're headed up to my Grandma's house. Then we'll be travelling to various other get-togethers until we end up at Kyle's Grandma's house on NYE. Have a merry Christmas everyone!

Lastnight we go a little snow, maybe an inch. So it's been fun hanging in the windows with the boys. Today I need to wrap, clean, clean out the boys toys, and laundry. If I have enough time I might bake.

I'm off today and don't go back to work until Tuesday. Today I plan on hitting the gym, taking the on call bag into work, getting my haircut and finishing off a few last minute things. I still need a GC for my Dad and to wrap my niece and nephews presents. Hoping to be lazier tomorrow.
We don't have to travel out of town but we do have lots of running around with the holidays.

I"m working today, too. I have two things that I have to get done today - year end payroll and the bank deposit - and then I hope our boss cuts us loose early.
Tonight, Jim and I are doing a sing-a-long of the Christmas portion of The Messiah at the Kennedy Center, something I've been trying to do for the last four years, but we've always left town already. Jim's not much of a singer, but he goes along because it makes me happy. He even got us the tickets early (yay for being a K-C employee) so we don't have to wait in line.
I have a tiny bit of shopping and wrapping to do and I need to print out all of my Vegas vouchers and confirmations. We got ridiculously discounted tickets to see the Cirque show KA, courtesy of my sister's connections at work.

I'm off work today and just got back from taking the dog for a walk and making a Starbucks run. I could really get used to not working on weekdays!
After I finish up my coffee, I'm going to hit the gym and do a few last minute errands ( I have one more gift I need for H, have to buy gifts for the various canines of the family, etc.) Then tonight, H and I are celebrating with his parents and opening our presents.
Bright and early tomorrow morning we're taking the bus down to Manhattan for the weekend. This will not only be my first Christmas away from my family , but also the first one where it is just H and me. But alas, H has to work in NYC on Christmas Day so we don't have much choice. We are trying to make the best of it, and it should be fun. I'll be back on Monday and have to go back to work on Tuesday, but H has to fly straight from NYC to Indianapolis for more work, poor guy.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a VERY happy holiday!

I've got two more periods to get through, then there's going to be supervision for the school dance and that's the end of the school day! I'm getting a lift down to the train station from a co-worker, and then it's home. I'm hoping I can keep my mouth shut for the 36 hours I need to hold out for so we can tell my parents about the pregnancy on Christmas morning.

Morning! I took today off unpaid since DH was home. Five days of relaxing freedom sounded better than 4!
Today we're going to go do our grocery shopping for the week and we have dinner reservations at a new restaurant tonight. After the first of the year the restaurant is going to be a subscription restaurant and we want to see if its going to be something we want to do!
Tomorrow we've got tickets to see the Seahawks play the 49ers! An awesome way to spend Christmas Eve!

I was feeling really under the weather with a cold yesterday but I'm glad to report that I'm doing much better today. My friend (Darian's godmother) visited in the morning and it was really nice to have an extra pair of hands.
This morning I made a last minute Christmas shopping run, and then made my daily visit to V's cousin's place to check on their cat while they're out of town. Poor thing didn't get her daily visit yesterday because I wasn't up for leaving the house.
Tonight we have a family party on V's side for an 80th birthday of one of his relatives. I'm hoping they don't serve dinner too late (for some reason, in his culture, dinner is always served at 9pm or later) but we're going to have a pre-dinner snack just in case. Then Christmas lunch with ILs on Sunday and dinner with my family on Monday.
