This is a c&p of an email from a research company that I never qualify for.  I work for a restaurant so they won't take me for the study.  But it sounds like fun if you do qualify. ....

 

In an effort to expand the opportunities for our database members to participate in our market research studies, L&E Research uses email technology to notify its members about some of our studies. If you do not fall into the category of people mentioned below, please forward this email to others who might. The more people we know of who are willing to participate in our paid studies, the more research we can conduct, and therefore, the more opportunities we can offer you.

We are currently looking for... People who eat at dine in restaurants. Qualified participants will be paid $85.00 for their time and opinions. When responding please tell us if you dine in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or late night occasions. Please tell us if you have ever eaten at any of the following and how often. Chili's, Outback, Denny's, Ihop, or Red Lobster.

Do you know what you have to do to get paid?

No I don't know, I've never done one.  H has spoken to them on the phone several times but the restaurant thing always gets us disqualified.  He said they are always very friendly and professional.  I qualify for one right now to sit in a room with other people with high cholesterol and talk about our experiences.  But I am picturing a room full of old people with health problems and that sounds terrible.

I've done a few of these studies.  Usually they just ask you questions, get your opinion, etc.  I have done a few about a radio station where we had to rate a bunch of songs, and I did a frozen yogurt one where we had to give our opinions on different dessert products and their packaging and what not.  It's really easy and they give you cash on your way out.  I apply for them whenever I qualify but you only get picked every once in awhile.

Cool, so you go somewhere to do it, it's not over the phone? Was it inconvenient to go to?
