Point Shoot Camera

Ok so I know about DSLR but now I want a handy point and shoot that I can just keep in my purse for random shots coz we all know that's impossible to do with bulky DSLRs. DH asked me what I want for Christmas (last minute bec we originally weren't getting any of each other since this little baby in my belly is our gift for each other but I got him something anyways just so he has something to open lol so now he wants to get me something too.

So any suggestions? I don't want an overly priced one but still good quality photos. I have not handled one in a while so not sure what's good out there. I can settle for my iPhone 4 camera but it's not fast enough for random photoOps heheh.  He's going to pick it up at whatever store I end up finding one on his way home, I have two hours to decide hehehe

By the way MERRY CHRISTMAS LADIES!!!

Re: Point Shoot Camera

  • Merry Christmas to you too... I love my Canon Powershot SD 870 (this family is good) and it is quick but not as good as the DSLR.

but I am also in love with our Olympus tough waterproof/shockproof camera (the only down fall is that it can be slower sometimes) but works great for summer/pool pictures and if it gets knocked off a counter or table by baby it will hold up.

  • Sorry, I can't be of any help with which camera to choose. I will admit though, even if you have a P&S, you will probably still use your iPhone. I have printed photos off of my iPhone before and you would be surprised with the quality. As long as the photo itself was shot in plenty of light and is clear and not grainy, they print great!
