It's 74 deg out but it feels like 85! Ugh, when did I move to the desert... oh right, I did move to a desert! Maybe it's time to start a tradition of ice cream eating on Xmas...

It was in the 30's and 40's in Fresno when I was there a couple of days ago. It's not what I'm used to either, Otter. Not that I'm from the East but I'm not used to winter that feels like summer. And I don't like it!

You are beating us by a degree hannikan!  It always impresses me that it's always warmer at my parents' house (in OC) in your winter than it is here in our winter.  But it's hot here b/c that sun is just so strong....damn that big hole in the ozone layer right above us! 

P.S.  I had a brownie and choc chip gelato at the movies

It got up to 77 deg at the highest and it was at least that inside our house, too. The sun can be powerful here, too. And we get our sunlight on the side of the apt where the breeze doesn't come in well. So it will bake the living room. I was wondering what the weather was like by katrina! It has started to cool off now that the sun went down. In my bedroom at night, it's cold.

This is why I love going to NY for Christmas. It may be cooler in the Bay, but the 30s is where it's at for a real winter!

Yeah, it's been unusually cold at night here lately. Low 30s. Lots of freeze and frost warnings.
