cancer sucks (thoughts and prayers please)
Hey Ladies. I haven't posted here in about 6 months (we moved, I got sick, switched schools, and school has just been kicking my butt!), but I was hoping that anybody who would be willing to might send up a prayer or think good thoughts for my family.
We found out today that my 6 month old Godson, Micah, has Neuroblastoma (a cancer of the primitive nerve cells that can found in an embryo, fetus, and in infants). He was having trouble breathing, and the docs found a mass on his lungs. They operated, and were hoping it was fatty tissue, but instead, it's cancer. And, from what I have read, once it's detectable, it has usually already spread. They're going to check his bone marrow and run more tests.
The poor little guy is being a trooper, but understandably, my family is very nervous and concerned. Micah's mama (my cousin) had two miscarriages and a stillbirth before she had Micah, and his brother Mason, and she's doing her best to cope right now. We really value our faith, and believe in the power of prayer, so if anyone could help us stand fast and pray/ think good thoughts for Micah, his mom, and our fam, we would really appreciate it.
