Reccomend you dish soap.

I know I haven't Posted much lately so, I hope you don't mind if I pick your brains on some random stuff we all use everyday.

 I'm looking for a good dish soap (the kind you hand wash with). I'm currently using the original dawn my parents always used but it doesn't take grease off.

I hand wash my pans everyday and I need something that really cuts grease.

I use the Palmolive Oxy Plus and it's amazing.  The only thing I really hand wash is my pots and pans since I don't put them in the dishwasher, but it works great.  I usually let the pans soak in some of that and hot water for like half an hour to an hour and they basically rinse clean without even having to touch them with a rag.

We use Clementine scent Method dish soap. I feel that it works as well as any other I've had and the pump dispenser is a huge bonus because it makes it easier to add soap with one hand. I normally buy it at Target.

I use seventh generation free and clear. If I really am having a hard time with a pot, I use vinegar

Does vinegar cut the grease? My problem is after soaking my pots have a permanent greasy feel and I'm tired if it.

Baking soda and vinegar does. I even put vinegar in my dishwasher. I have used dawn and I think it cuts grease just fine. I just need to use hot water and it's okay.

I use Palmolive Oxy Plus, works great.

Actually for pots and pans I use a powder cleaner. Usually one that's aimed towards stainless steel. Bar keepers friend or something similar.

We used Dawn growing up and I never tried anything different because my mom needed her plastic to "squeak" and it worked just fine. I'm actually wondering if the problem is what might be in the water but, I can't do anything about that as we rent. I will try vinegar and baking soda next time.

I get whatever smells good at the time.  On the rare occasion I have something too greasy for dish soap, I make a paste with baking soda and water.

I'm using whatever the "green" Costco dish soap is. It works really well and is environmentally friendly which I like.
