What did you get for Christmas/Hanukkah? Any crafty stuff?
DH gave me the complete Threads Magazine archive on DVD. I love the magazine and the great techniques in each issue, so I am looking forward to having that resource. It came with a Sandra Betzina book on fitting, so I have no excuse not to sew clothes for myself.
I am pretty sure that my money from my mom will be spent on something CR....I just can't decide whether to get something for my accuquilt go! or whether to spend it on organizational supplies. Or whether I should put it towards a dress form. I may wait for a bit to decide.

Baby #2 - D&E - 10/1/10 @ 19w2d - thanatophoric dysplasia confirmed.
Charlotte Lillian will be forever in our hearts.

I got fabric from my MIL, a bias tape maker plus 4 additonal tips from my dad and stepmom, and three pair of Mundial scissors from my mom.
I have money from my Grandma and want to buy a Singer 401A, but I need snowboots worse especially since my Grandma gave me her 1954 Necchi BF Mira. It will need a service and probably a little more work, but I cannot wait to get her cleaned up and get to sew on her. She's sooooo pretty. And if she were a BU and had zigzag, I'm not sure I'd ever need another machine. But alas, I'm still looking for the perfect vintage machine. I may still check on the 401A that is about 4 hrs from home. At $125 for the machine and the cabinet, I'm not sure I can go wrong provided it sews.
I'm turning into a crazy vintage sewing machine lady.
My Christmas gift from DH was a a trip to Ikea and a couple hours working to help organize my sewing room. Its still a work in process, but much, much better than 3 days ago.
Vintage sewing machine lovers, check out my pretty pink Atlas on display :-)
From my parents, I got two Cricut cartirdges, and that's the only CR stuff from them, surprisingly enough! I did get a Kindle Fire, though, so now watching those knitting youtube videos in bed will be more comfortable.
My dad also gave me a $50 "bonus" for doing almost all of the shopping for Mom, so I bought peg board accessories and a kit of DPNs in all sizes. I got a cheaper brand, but I figured that for as new as I am to knitting, I'd like to start small but still have all the sizes, maybe upgrade later.
From DH, I got a Dremel 3000 (for use woodworking and such) and some other tools that I have been needing. Since I've been doing some woodworking and furniture refinishing, I've just taken DH's hand-me-downs from his work tools (he's an electrician), and they are finally starting to peter out (or I'm missing too many pieces to make them useful and I go find his work tools anyway lol), so he is upgrading all of my tools slowly.
So that was pretty exciting.
Also got a Keurig, so now I can craft for hours...right??? :P

I just went and cashed in my gift certificate at Michael's. All the wool was on sale so I have enough to make 2 scarfs and a sweater for me.
My sister also gave me a rainbow pack of Kona solids so I'm dreaming up ways to cut into it.

I got the Harmony interchangeable circs
They feel so different from the Addi Clicks and I'm feeling really decadent owning both, haha!
DH also got me some cute stitch markers shaped like sheep. I'm all re-inspired to start knitting again!
Ooh! Let me know how you like them!
The only specifically craft-related thing I got was a book from MIL on fair-isle motifs. However I did get some $$$ from extended family and I intend to use that to increase my stash. I'm using KP's anticipated price increase as an excuse!

Will do! Using the key to tighten the joins is a little funny after being used to the Addi's simple click-n-go join, but it's not a huge deal (until I lose the key
).
Actually I have a question: what do you store yours in? I love the case that my Addi's came in (as you might remember, I'm the crazy person that got the Addi's partly because of the case in the first place) and wish the Harmonies had something similar and more protective than the plastic they showed up in.
ETA: I'm just going to create a new post with my Harmony questions as I realized I have more than one question and don't want to take over OP.
No CR presents for me--DH and I bought a new bedroom set at the end of November so that was our Christmas. Not complaining though--I LOVE my new stuff. In fact, so much that I am going to AW it here (and I am pretty sure I have AWed it before, how bad is that? and that is NOT my room--too bad eh?) Oh, if you have any bedding suggestions, LOVE to hear them! It is a King and our old set was a queen.
