Ten Things Tuesday
1. I'm excited to be starting Ten Things Tuesday for the first time in a long time because I usually get online late at night and miss it by Tuesday night.
2. The weekend was really enjoyable but flew by.
3. I was just looking at all my frends' pictures of their kids on Christmas and I realized that I didn't really take any of Lily in front of the tree or anything "Christmas-y"
4. I got got some really cool baking items for Christmas and I'm excited to use them,
5. Lily was clearly exhausted from the weekend festivities because she was out cold for most of today.
6. I got a flat tire last week while driving in the new neighborhood. Stupid construction site.
7. I'm super blessed in the family and friends department.
8. I think I'm gonna' get some "cloud storage" going this week to store all my pictures/videos because I'd be devastated if something happened to them all.
9. It's currently 12:01am and I'm a bit irritated with myself because I told myself I'd be in bed at midnight. Clearly I'm not.
10. I realize I never gave any updates this week about DH's work Christmas party, so I shall now create a random post about that.
Re: Ten Things Tuesday
1. Wow. It's Tuesday?!
2. It's finally snowing. FINALLY!
3. Christmas didn't really feel like Christmas this year, but I'm trying really hard to accept the fact that as I grow, traditions change, and one day, I'll have a Christmas that feels like Christmas again.
4. I am hanging out w/ my best friend today who I haven't seen in a year since she moved away for school! We've had some rocky points in our relationship, so I'm a little nervous, but I'm also really excited.
5. DH got me Bossypants by Tina Fey for Christmas. OMG hilarious.
6. My coffee is kind of weak this morning.
7. My mom sent me home with so many leftovers, I won't have to cook until probably Thursday!
8. Everyone loved their Christmas gifts - WIN!
9. I slept in til 8:30 today! I hardly ever do that!
10. I'm hungry.
1) Today is my last day in Florida with my mom
2) She told me she is coming to see me in March in Michigan
3) My mom has the cutest dog in the world. I want to take her home with me.
4) I start at my new location on February 5th. I am excited and nervous.
5) I am feeling overwhelmed with how much I have to do in the month of January...
6) I need to find a place to live in Michigan sooner rather than later.
7) DH has a second phone interview today for a job in MI. I am hopeful he gets this job.
8) I want to change jobs altogether by the end of 2012 but my mom keeps telling me she thinks I should stick with where I am at until the end of time.
9) Number 8 makes me crazy.
10) I don't know what we are going to do yet but I am determined to go somewhere for our 2 year anniversary.
1. I am still not feeling that well (sinus infectoin), DH, sister & many others are sick too, there must be a lot going around
2. I am running to Target on lunch to buy some storage bins, DD is growing out of her clothes and I need to put away the too small stuff.
3. I think I'll buy some of those ornament holder containers too.
4. We have a prelit tree and some of the lights burnt out a few weeks ago, but we were able to turn it so you couldn't really tell. Some more lights burned out last year. Time for a new tree!
5. I have some returns at Toys R Us, am not looking forward to the return line, I think I'll wait a few days.
6. I hope to do a good grocery shopping this weekend to get back on track with my bringing lunches to work, dinner meal planning, etc.
7. We had a very busy 3 days of Christmas, but it was fun.
8. It's snowing!
9. I really need to get an oil change in my car, I keep forgetting.
10. DH got to feel the baby kick for the first time on Christmas Eve, it was a fun Christmas gift!
1. We had a great Christmas this year! I really enjoyed it.
2. DH's mom cried when we told her we were expecting. I gave her a scarf she had been asking me to make and put a card at the bottom that was signed 'Baby A'. When she read it her mouth fell open, she looked at me and asked 'Are you serious?' It was great. DH's grandparents were there was well and Gpa asked, "Is this for real?" We got it all on tape.
3. My mom was pretty excited too. And i got pretty much the same reaction from her. Then she insisted on calling all her friends to tell them she was going to be a grandma.
4. I took today and yesterday off work with the intention of trying to make serious headway in getting my craft room organized. I didnt touch it yesterday and I dont have the motivation to it today either.
5. We do Secret Santa with my siblings every year and if you happen to draw your name you are supposed to put it back and pick another. My brother drew his own name and didn't tell anyone. Instead he bought all of the siblings gifts and in turn got nothing from any of us since no one had his name. He's such a sweet kid.
6. We went to Mdnight mass and there was a teenage girl wearing Hello Kitty slipper boots. I pointed them out to my DH and told him I wanted them. Ironically enough, my mom had bought them for me and I got them the next day at Christmas.
7. Im 28 years old and my youngest siblings are 15 and the rest are in their 20s. My mother still stuffs stockings for all of us.
8. We put a train around the bottom of our tree this year and our cats havent bothered it.
9. My brother got a cat this year and said cat knocked his tree down, breaking half of his ornaments.
10. All my posts were pretty much about Christmas. I can't believe Christmas is over already!
1. It's snowing and I have mixed feelings about it.
2. I'm resting my foot before a friend comes over but I wish I was cleaning up the house. It was nice and clean and then... Christmas happened.
3. I have so much to do in the kitchen today. 10 more lbs of fudge!! And then baking cookies with the "bad batch" of fudge that has been in my fridge for a week. (it's not bad, it's just harder than it should be. I only like to give out soft, delicious fudge)
4. I'm disappointed that I've gained holiday weight and my foot is still messed up so I can't run. However, I'm planning to play Wii Fit today. Maybe that'll help.
5. I'm selling some wedding items this week and I'm thankful because I could use the money since I have been out of work since the 16th.
6. DH and I are heading to Ohio on Thursday instead of Friday now. I don't know how I feel about that.. I'm not really eager to see some of his family members that don't respect us enough to call and say they're not coming to the wedding.
7. Christmas came... and went... and a week from now I'll be back at work, at school, and my sister will be engaged!!
8. A friend from HS just posted on FB that her and her H are preggo. I have slight baby fever... but realistically will not be TTC for another couple years.
9. DH wants a new job. Anyone handing them out?
10. Once again.. it's snowing. Multiple emotions. Can it just stay for the month of January and then be done? Rain in February and then sunshine in March? It doesn't have to "warm up" until April though, Mother Nature, I'm fine with that.
1. Ha, I didn't realize it was Tuesday already either!
2. We had a nice Christmas, although it was weird because only 1 of my 4 siblings was here, so we had a small group.
3. I have Ladies' Night tonight with some friends, I am looking forward to it!
4. I am 100% happier since quitting my other job, it's awesome.
5. I watched The Polar Express on tv last night, and didn't really care for it. It was weird.
6. I'm sad that 100.3 is no longer playing Christmas music.
7. My brother's wife is coming back to MI in 24 days, I can't wait to see her and my favorite nephew!
8. She is coming back to have their second baby (due at the end of Feb), and I can't wait to meet him! I'm so curious to see if he is going to be like his brother (who was seriously the calmest, happiest baby I have ever met).
9. Working from home is saving us a ridiculous amount of money on gas and eating out, I am honestly amazed by it (and a little embarrassed by the bad habits we had developed before).
10. I love granola bars.

2. I am glad to be at work today, but at the same time I am wishing I wasn't.
3. I am sad that Christmas is over, but at the same time I am not. I just wish it wasn't so busy that I felt like it wasn't relaxing.
4. H & I can't decide what we're doing for New Year's Eve. I really want to go to my friend's party but he isn't really feeling up to it... so what do we do now?
5. I am wearing one of the shirts I got today from my mom and really like it! It fits me great and I feel great in it!
6. H & I are starting a bucket list and I am kind of excited because we are going to make a board out of it. I am excited to share dreams/goals with one another
7. I really wanted to paint my nails last night but was too tired by the time I got home... maybe I will do that today?
8. I am dreading WW this week... the holidays were not very nice to me lol
9. I am hoping to get some Dance Central 2 gaming in today!
10. H's birthday is in a few weeks and I have no idea what to get him...

Awww. How fun! Stories like this make we want to try to time a pregnancy around a fun "announcing" time, like Christmas or Mother's Day. I know that my mom is literally going to freak the eff out when I have baby news to give...in the future.
1. I find it kind of hard to believe that Christmas is over.
2. Christmas didn't feel quite like Christmas this year, likely because there weren't any big gifts I was excited to give and I had to split the day up between my family and FI's.
3. In the end, Christmas was still enjoyable though because I do love spending time with our families.
4. FI and I had a Christmas list snafu and ended up with 3 fire safes. lol
5. My mom was annoyed about #4, because she gave us one of the three.
6. I don't really feel bad for my mom because I made it very clear that I was not splitting up the list between the parents and they would simply have to communicate via email.
7. I would think that 3 sets of adults could communicate, but apparently I was wrong.
8. FI left work California for work today, for the rest of the week. Bummer.
9. We still need to make plans for NYE.
10. Thank goodness for a 4 day week this week and next!
Tell FI that he'll just have to buy you some more jewels now to fill all three safes.

1. Had a great Christmas, I am really thankful for all of the family and friends that we have in our lives.
2. Lil one is "spoiled" and that is an understatement. Still trying to figure out where to put all the gifts she recieved!
3. Anxious to take the tree down..Curious toddler= chasing after ornaments! (shatter-proof ones of course)
4. Excited for the first time a few years DH and I are going out for New Years and my parents are going to watch my lil one overnight
5. I have recently been toying around with the idea of going back to a 9-5 job. Mainly for the benefits and extra income.
6. Photography business is doing well, but not consistent enough to live off of yet.
7. Last few days to donate things to Salvation Army before the tax year ends. I have had to do this anyways but as always I have waited until the last minute.
8. I have had to do this for a long time- I donate old clothes and shoes and misc house things, throughout the year to help de-clutter but I ever actually use the receipt as a deduction when it comes to tax time... this year, Im on it! haha
9. Speaking of taxes, The past few years I have done our income taxes ourself online. I started looking to see any new changes for the 2011 year for tax returns. There are alot of changes! and not in a good way!
10. Really needs to go to bed early when I say I am going to- editing and working late at night has got me dragging with lovebug waking up so early
