When is the best time to buy additional place settings?
We entertain a lot, and I want to buy more place settings of my wedding china. I was wondering if you ladies know when is the best time of year to do this? I want to do it when these things are on sale, so I can get the best deal possible! My china is from Macy's.

There are sales all the time on china, especially with sale-happy Macy's! Do a Google Shopping search for your china and get an idea of the best price, then set up a shopping alert to stalk the sales at various retailers. When I was completing my china, I found the best prices at some random stores (like gift shops in Florida that specialize in china).
Oh, you might also try buying discounted gift cards for Macy's and combining those with a sale. I've bought from that company 4 times and they've always worked for me.

Funny you should ask this... I just bought another place setting yesterday from Macys. My china is normally $143.00 per place setting and I bought it yesterday for $75.00! Yay sales! (Actually, it should have been $99.99, but the fabulous sales woman bumped the price up a penny and then used a coupon for $25.00 off a $100.00)
