What caused my miscarriage.....
I just got off the phone with my doctor from Texas and they told me they just received the results from my blood test last week from my NT scan. Apparently, the baby had Trisomy 13 and 18 which means it was inevitable the baby would not make it. 80% of babies born with this condition die within the first year.
My doctor strongly recommended that we get genetic counseling before TTC again. However, I think I am done. Between the TTC and this, I don't think I can go forward down this road any longer.
The miscarriage news wasn't too hard on me but this news is. And the thought of Macy being an only child

Thank you everyone for the support.
I am in a much better place today. Yesterday was REALLY tough on me, actually last night was the toughest......laying in bed with nothing to do but letting my mind wonder......
Anyway, I was able to do my research and there is a good chance this was a complete and total fluke. I read the odds of recurrence is less than 1% unless there is a genetic precursor from my H or I, and even the then, the odds of it being hereditary are around 3% or something.
We are opting to send the baby to pathology once I actually do miscarry which should give us some answers.
But again, thank you
