Recs for a protective iPad2 case?

I'm in the market for a new iPad2 case. I stepped up from the SmartCover, because I wanted something with a bit more protection, and I ended up buying the STM Skinny Case. It seemed to handle the auto-on-off functionality the best of the cases I tried out. Unfortunately, the one time my iPad suffered any kind of hard impact, the plastic corner on the Skinny Case actually dented the aluminum iPad underneath! I'm now actually a bit worried that the case is doing more harm than good.

I definitely want something that covers the screen and that supports the iPad2's auto-on-off functionality. But this time I'd like something that's also going to provide a little bit of protection if it gets bumped against something or knocked off the sofa. (Support for a keyboard or viewing position would be a bonus!)

  • I have a pink and lack griffin case. It even has a stand you am prop it up on. My kids play with mine all the time.
  • I have a purple and black Belkin case that protects mine really well. It covers the iPad so the only part that is visible is the screen, but has an opening on the top and back so you can still use the camera. It can also close like a book, and it can prop it up as well.
