Dress Me!

Ha, I know I have done this to you girls before but you're all so much help. I am trying to put together a NYE outfit and this is what I have so far:

This actual skirt

A jacket pretty similar to this

This top which looks much better in person, it has little rhinestones on it. I'd tuck it into the skirt and maybe put a belt on.

I am not 100% sold on the top, I thought about wearing like a menswear style shirt but not sure. Also I don't know what kind of tights to wear, opaque black, fishnet, none? Being girly is hard. BTW we're just going to a house party. Help!

Re: Dress Me!

  • I don't consider myself a fashionista by any means but for the tights, I feel like you should do solid just because the skirt seems kinda busy.

Ditto.  Or maybe nude stockings with a bit of a shimmer to them?

    Cute outfit!  Smile

  • Black tights work, no pattern and make sure they are opaque (I double up sometimes...it is more comfortable than it sounds!).

I like the top...but I think something in a similar shade that is more fitted might work better. Or you could leave it untucked and roll up the sleeves of your jacket. This is assuming the shirt isn't almost as long as the skirt.

  • Thanks, I guess I should have said that skirt is sequin, not patterned like it looks. I think I will do opaque black tights. I have some of those already to. I also have a barbie t-shirt I could work into the mix haha.
