The last Friday of the year! Who else is stuck at work today?
Last night was uneventful--Josh helped push me out the door to the gym, and that ended up being an awesome run. I need to start training soon for the half-marathon that I'm doing in March, so any quality runs I can squeeze in are great. My work has a training group that starts soon--I'm thinking of joining it so I can meet more people outside of my small group of coworkers.
The long weekend will be for relaxing, reading and getting some writing done. We're making seafood enchiladas for New Year's Eve dinner, so we've got to head to the grocery store tonight to get the ingredients (and pick up a bottle or two of champagne!).

Ed wanted me to go with him to his car appointment two hours away, but I bailed on it...I don't really want to spend 4 hours in the car today. So I am just hanging out for the day. I have a load of laundry to do and I may start de-decorating. I should probably also go to the grocery store...I think I want to make tacos for dinner, so I need taco stuff.
Tomorrow we are just staying home and relaxing. Ed has to take down the outside decorations and his candles (they are his deal, so I'm not cleaning them up...). I think we are doing Chinese takeout for dinner and just will lounge and watch movies (and probably go to bed before midnight because I never can stay up that late).

I'm still trying to decide if my giant pregnancy pillow (Snoggle) is helping or hurting. It sure is a giant PITA to try and roll over with it!
So, I'm up before I really need to be, especially considering tonight will be a late night. Why a late night you ask? Because we're going to see American Idiot!!!! WHEEEE!! I'm really excited. Tickets to see it was my dad's Christmas gift to Derek and I.
Last night was pretty lazy. We played a game of Monopoly on the Xbox (I lost, oh well) and then went to Home Depot to pick up some very large and very cheap totes for storage. Serisously, $3.99 for a 76 L (ummm, ~20 gal totes. They are ugly, but who cares, as they're going in the basement.
Tomorrow we're off to Tim and Shannon's for a house party. They're getting a keg so that's good for Derek. I think I'll find a fun mocktail recipe for me to have.We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

I'm working until noon today and then grabbing lunch with a co-worker then we're heading to the spa. I'm getting a stone massage, deluxe pedicure, and my eyebrows done. Ahhh I can't wait!
I have a three day weekend which is good because I have a lot to get done including cleaning, laundry, and taking down the inside and outside Christmas decoration, I also need to go grocery shopping and get our guest room ready because one of Jason's friends is going to be staying with us for a couple of weeks and is arriving on Tuesday.
Good morning! I just rolled out of bed about a half an hour ago. I have a home improvement project that I'm going to start tackling today with a trip to the Home Depot. I'm going to paint the master bedroom, but the walls are in such a crappy state, that I'm going to have to skim coat and sand first.
Before I do that, I need to get the meat for dinner marinating. My only other goal for today is to get some laundry done.

I'm stuck at work today too, but I think the boss is taking us out for lunch, so that'll be nice! I went in for my BW this morning, and of course, I won't get the results back til Tuesday. whomp whomp. I knew I should have just gone yesterday.
we're taking it easy tonight and having tacos for dinner. yum! oh, and guess what I'm NOT doing tonight? scooping litter boxes. muahahaha

Morning everyone! Year end at work and my 6 closings this month are finally complete. So I took the day off. Today I'm going to sit on my couch, watch bad movies, and clean out my work inbox. I don't know about all of you, but I am awful about daily management of email.
This evening, B and I are trying to locate some tickets to the Hawks Red Wings game, but I'm only about 25% confident that we will actually find tickets.
Tomorrow we're gonna head over to a friend's for NYE, which should be fairly low key.

Hi laides...
Well I am just getting into work, and will be working a 1/2 day. I ended up bringing Zach to the doctors due to how he was feeling at DC yesterday. Low and behold after 17 months, we have our first ear infection. I am so glad I decided to bring him. Hopefully the meds will kick in soon, and he will be much better in a few days.
We are supposed to head to NH tomorrow night for a party, but it will depend on how the little man is feeling.

These couple of days at the office have been brutal. I'm to the point of making work just to keep my eyes open. Usually I support a staff of 12-14 and stay busy, except this week its been 4.
Tonight is pizza and wine at our house and settling in for a nice three day weekend at home.
Today started off pretty crappy but has steadily improved.
I could not sleep last night (I just felt restless all night) and then got up at 5am to go to the gym. Running seemed like it would be a bit too hard today so I just hit the elliptical and bike instead. Just had time for a quick shower before I had to help DH get Winston into the carrier so he would be able to take him to the vet while I was gone. We decided to try these weekly injections and see if that helps. Poor little guy HATE going to the vet so it's always a chore to get him in the carrier. DH put him in the office and he knew what was going on. After DH brought the carrier into the room, he tries to hide and make himself as small as possible. Once I pick him up, he knows there is no way he ISN'T going in so he just tries to hug and snuggle and get as close to me as possible to try and avoid the carrier. It's cute and hearbreaking all at the same time.
So, that made me run late for work so I ended up eating breakfast in the car. Once I got to work I was working with one of the technicians who half-asses her job most days and I just was not in the mood for that today.
FIL came over and helped DH set up our new TV and sound system and after a nap (and dinner) we're off to friends to watch UFC. Long, tiring, busy day.
