I believe I am luxuriating in the holiday afterglow and post semester madness and am also crazy busy. LMAO
I hope you're all doing well, and am still dying to find out whats going on with our GTG!! I also hope you all have a fantastic New Year's Eve, and hope this year is your best one yet!
As for us...
Today/Friday: DH has a 1/2 a day and is actually on his way home now. *He starts at 6am. We're going to tackle some of the last boxes we have. I need to really sweep/vacuum and steam mop because construction leaves a layer of grime on everything. OY.
Organize our diningroom for the last delivery from Potterybarn. Most likely going to a hibachi/sushi buffet here on SI, I want to do something!
I would like to take the tree down and put the ornaments and craziness away, but DH keeps telling me Im being a Scrooge/OCD. LOL. So, it stays for now.
Saturday/NYE!
We do not have any plans to go out for NYE actually. Last year this time, I was pregnant and we hung out in our friend's restaurant in Williamsburg and brought it in that way (AWESOME!!) - but since we bought the new house, and have spent so much - we're staying in. Besides the fact, where am I dragging a 6 month old on NYE? So, hats and horns and pots/pans and spoons for Avery..it will be fun.
Sunday:
No plans! I might have a friend watch Avery so DH and I can go to the movies. I havent gone since my second trimester. Ack!

Today is almost over and I've had to work, so nothing fancy.
Tomorrow I think we'll just relax and get ready to PAR-TAY!!
We have a big a$$ party to attend at my Maestro's place. Outfits are picked out, plus outrageous make up, with feather eyelashes, glitter etc., the traditional Italian unworn red underwear, for good luck, and the Veuve Cliquot can't wait to go *POP*!
On Sunday it will be Skype central again for a few hours and then everything will go back to normal
Again, HAPPY NEW YEAR LADIES!!!
DH and i just got back from our week away in NH with his family. So we're crazy tired.
We need to do laundry, unpack, clean up, etc...
Friends invited us over to hang out with them at their place in Astoria, but i'm thisclose to saying no cuz of traveling after midnight. I'm such an old lady... We've also asked 2 of our guy friends to come over, but haven't heard from them. So we have some figuring out to do.
Tomorrow; relaxing.
