I'm skipping my friends daughters 1st bday party to race.
I feel a little guilty bc I didn't make it to her baby shower either - my Uncle died & my flight left the same day as her shower.
but it's a 1y/o bday party, and i don't have kids..and i dont care for half the people that would be there.

I really want to get a job in Tampa after I graduate. One perk to that is I will be far away from some people so it will give me a good reason not to hang out with them.
I also just spent $50 on eye makeup

My Bio
I want my H to go back to work. He had to use the rest of his vacation, so he took the last 14 days off for Christmas/new year. He gets bored sitting at home so he starts to bring all his toys out.(Bike, DJ equiptment,computers....ect.) Or starts new projects.(he put a new radio/speakers in my car) We tried going to Sea World on Wed, it was so packed we couldn't move. I think next year, we will take a vacation,( even if it is just to Orlando) everytime he takes days off!
Oh man, I know that feeling. Not necessarily about my sisters, I have pretty good relationships w/ most of them. But I have a few things i'd like to say to my MIL. it would feel oh so good.

Obviously I don't think you should feel selfish. (remember, we have this all planned out.. lol jk) .. But seriously, I don't think you should feel selfish. How does your H feel?
Oh man, if our plan worked out that would be perfect!! LOL!
He's not in a huge hurry. He wants a baby but waiting a little longer isn't upsetting to him. He's not crazy about my racing, especially not marathon training, but he's very supportive of me being 'ready.' I've only briefly mentioned the 3rd marathon (I'm looking at Nashville RnR in April) and he didn't instantly reject the idea. So we'll see.
