Technology question

I feel like I should know the answer to this, but I'm not sure how it all works.

I am wanting to get some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes on dvd.  I know that I can buy them from Walmart or something.  Outside of that, is there a to get the episodes that I have on my dvr onto a dvd?  Can I get them from the dvr to an external hardrive or thumb drive to get them on my computer and then burn them to a disc?  Or if I buy some on itunes can I burn them to a disc that way?

Re: Technology question

  • I've been in this sitation many times except with Yo Gabba Gabba.

IF your DVR is from the cable company than you probably will not be able to burn them to a DVD unless you hack into the DVR ( instructions are available on google if you are brave). The best way to do this in the future is to purchase your own DVR system from amazon.

Not sure if you can burn them from itunes, but I doubt it because of DRM protection.

The best way is to find the episodes online on a movie site and download them from there ( or buy them at Walmart).

  • My DH is a tech nerd and we couldn't figure out how to get stuff off the DVR onto a disk. I taped some Nat Geo stuff for my classes but ended up ordering them on Amazon.
