Where all did you travel to in 2011? For the first time in awhile we didn't really travel anywhere in 2011. However, we recently moved to a new area of the state and took advantage of discovering local places to hike and do outdoor activities.
What are your 2012 travel plans? We're making up for not going anywhere in 2011 and using a bunch of saved vacation time.
We're going to Europe this spring for a month. The plans aren't set in stone, but we'll definitely be visiting Berlin, Munich, Krakow, Prague, and Budapest along with a few other small cities along the way.

2011: Vegas for a Weezer show, Healdsburg, Amsterdam and Paris, the Hamptoms, Louisville for a wedding, Kauai, Phoenix, and Mumbai.
2012: March: Sonoma, Phoenix; May: NYC; June: Japan (expect to see lots of posts with questions from me!); September: Maui.

Where all did you travel to in 2011? Ireland in June, Italy in October.
What are your 2012 travel plans? Puerto Rico with my college friends, and otherwise some home-state backpacking. A little less extravagant than last year!

What are your 2012 travel plans? So far we have no real plans. Possibly NYC this summer. Thinking about seeing if H is up for a trip to Sedona sometime.
Where all did you travel to in 2011? Maroma Beach/Tulum Mexico; NJ to see family; camping trip to the Florida Keys; Orlando; Ft. Myers camping trip. Nowhere extravagant!
What are your 2012 travel plans? 2012 will be the year of weddings and family trips! Tucson for a wedding next month. We'll make it an extra long weekend and explore Southern Arizona. Wedding in Boston in June. Probably make that an extended weekend as well. Trip to the family cottage in New Hampshire in the fall. We'll probably do at least one camping trip next year too. Other than that, we don't have anything concrete planned.

What are your 2012 travel plans? Taos, NM for ski next month. Thru-hike all of MD Appalachian trail sometime after winter. We still have not figured out if we want 2 1-week domestic vacation or one 2-week international!
Where all did you travel to in 2011? NYC (3 times); Ohio (Columbus and NW Ohio for weddings/wedding related events); New Orleans; Traverse City, MI; Virginia Beach; Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Granada); Chicago
What are your 2012 travel plans? Vegas; NYC; Mystery Destination for my 30th birthday (DH is planning the trip); hopefully Belize for my friend's 30th birthday (all depends if she is KTFU by then). We are also planning on doing some weekend/long weekend hiking trips a few times to explore and also to get ready for hiking the Inca Trail in 2013.

Where all did you travel to in 2011? New Orleans, Vancouver B.C., and Portland OR. Although really we go to Portland on a regular basis, but I'm counting this trip (but not others) because this was a road trip with friends and to see a concert, which is outside of our normal plans. I'm not counting the little trips to other places in Oregon to visit family.
What are your 2012 travel plans? None yet... In May though I want to play tourist in my own region (Seattle) for our anniversary.
2011: Pittsburgh, Hershey, Ireland (Dublin, Kinsale and Galway primarily), France (Paris and Nice), Switzerland (Geneva), Brandywine area, NYC, the Poconos, Lancaster area, Washington DC, Disney World (many of those were just weekend/day trips)
2012: So far we are doing Pittsburgh over Easter and weather permitting Niagara Falls over President's Day...I'm also doing a surprise trip to DC for DH's birthday (there is an exhibit he really wants to see).....we're also hoping maybe to do Canada/New England over the summer....this year will be much lighter travel-wise because we are currently TTC

Where all did you travel to in 2011? a few visits to MA/RI to see friends & family, a few days in NH with my mom & gram, winery weekend in leesburg, virginia (an hour from downtown but felt very far away) and barcelona, spain
What are your 2012 travel plans? nothing booked yet but we definitely want to do a big trip for our 5th anniversary in september. i am thinking perhaps thailand . . .

2012- We're open to ideas! We thought we'd stay stateside this summer, but I think unless there is a baby on the way that we will do another big trip. DH is likely spending a lot of time in Japan for work, so, I hope to join him on a trip this time around.

In 2011, I took my girls on a trip to Disney World to celebrate DD #2's 5th birthday (#1 had gotten a WDW trip as her 5th bday gift as well). We did it a few months earlier than the actual birthday so that we could meet up with my sister and her family. We also headed to NJ a few times to see the grandparents.
No travel plans in 2012 unless you count a few car trips to visit family. We're doing a *major* renovation on the house that has been in the works for 2 1/2 years, so all spare money is getting thrown at that and the only reason I'm going anywhere is to escape the worst of the construction!
