Dr. Ketan Patel?

I was referred to him by my OB. Has anyone ever been treated by him and is he worth seeing? He's a little out of my way (I live just south of Deer Valley and he is in Scottsdale). Does any one know of any decent reproductive specialist who perhaps know a little something about treating women with PCOS? I would prefer to go to someone closer to the Moon Valley/Deer Valley/Peoria/Glendale area (think around Loop 101 North, I-17, and SR-51)?

Please let me know.

Re: Dr. Ketan Patel?

  • I will be seeing Dr. Craig at Fertility Treatment Center. I also live on the west side. They have offices in Tempe and Scottsdale. They also have one in the Arrowhead area, but I guess it is being remodeled. I have not seen him yet, but was referred to him by a few people who say that he is awesome! I will let you know after my appointment in a few weeks. I was also diagnosed with PCOS.

  • Dr. Patel is an excellent RE! I know a few people who have had success with him! You would be in great hands there. And just so you know, all RE's are going to have vast experience with woman dealing with PCOS.

I went to Dr. Johnson at ARMS (arizona reproductive medicine specialists) and highly recc. them. they have offices valley wide, but their main office if off the 51 and thomas.

     Best of luck!

  • I was referred to him- he specializes in PCOS.  However I called ammd asked if his response to me would just be "lose weight" and was told by his nurse that is what his response would be so I didn't go.

People who have worked with him have given good reviews though.

Several ladies used ARMS and loved them.  They have several offices.
