does anyone have the LIATORP desk from IKEA?
thinking about replacing our desk with this one. anyone have it? can I see pictures? how do you like it?

No, but I have the Liatorp buffet/sideboard (we use it as an entertainment stand in our bedroom) and I love it. It's a very nice, solid piece of furniture.
I have the liatorp kitchen table and it's a piece of crap. It is so wobbly and tippy it is dangerous. Also the top is chipping like crazy and we don't even eat at our table very often...there are 3 spots where there is a giant chip on the top and now it's all bubbled up because the pressboard got wet. The edges of the table are super chipped. It also stains so easily...a piece of mac and cheese will stain the table for a week if you drop it on there. Seriously.
I think we have an older version of that desk. We bought it 5 years ago (I can't find what we have on the website but it's similar to the one you PIPed) and it has been through 3 moves (taken apart 1 or 2 times) and is still in great shape. We have a wood finish and it's not scratched but a few small spaces and holds a lot of files and other crap.
At the time I had buyer's remorse after spending $300 on an IKEA desk and was kicking myself because I was afraid it would fall apart but it was a good purchase. Also, just to note ours was a PITA to put together!
