I am making myself a nursing cover and debating on whether to put in the boning. Anyone have one without it and wish it was different? I figure I can use it as a blanket if it lays flat, but I'm not sure if it will be less effective as a nursing cover that way.
Re: nursing cover question
I'm guessing the boning gives the cover some space from the baby instead of laying right on the baby. my cover has always been hated by my daughter. She has repeatedly tried to flash the world for me it lays right on her and she is not a fan Had i known they made them with some structure I would have def tried that!! Not a sewing pro but how im picturing it, could you make the little "sleeves" for the wires or plastic so that you could use it with and without? i have no idea if thats even possible since ive never seen this style but in my mind thats my solution! Gosh i probably did NOT help!

This was my thought. I planned on using the alligator clips, then figured the cover could be used as a blanket too.
