Too many people dying around the holidays

Besides the family in Connecticut and the mom in Parker, my friend's 29 year old sister died unexpectedly on Wednesday and another friend of a friend (only 42) died of a massive heart attack tonight. I hate that it has to happen to begin with, but to happen so close to the holidays is so sad.

Re: Too many people dying around the holidays

  • The 17 year old boy who posted the videos recently and died on Christmas night...  :(

Lots of tpj to your friends' families.

  • Ugh...I thought it just seemed that way to me.  My friend's uncle accidentally drove his scooter into a wall and died and we heard about a really tragic death where DH's cousin's SIL was hit by a car on the interstate and died.  Her body was found hanging on the guardrail.  She was only 22 or so.

Also, DH's uncle and my aunt both had major heart issues.  My aunt got a pacemaker and DH's uncle had some type of device to shock his heart installed.

    Seriously...what is going on?!

  • Agreed. Two coworkers have lost their moms and one lost her full term baby, all within the last week. So sad:(

  • I just talked to my brother - one of his best friends lost his dad very unexpectedly last night.
  • My boss lost her mom Tuesday, and an out of state coworker lost her son (adult) last weekend. I really thought that was too many people passing. It seems everyone knows of someone passing lately. How sad. :-(
  • There was also the Rejis graduate basketball player who was at Benedictine now that was killed in a car accident in Kansas when he was on his way to the airport to come home for the holidays.  Another very, very sad one.
