Help with Iron-On Transfers? (PIP)

I made t-shirts for my boys tonight using inkjet iron-on transfer paper for the first time. Overall, I'm happy with how they look:

The only issue I had was that the transfer wasn't completely clean in a few areas-- it almost looks cracked, even though it looked great when it printed:

It only happened around the edge. Did I not apply enough pressure/heat? I was afraid to press it for too long-- is that possible? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml

  • The fact that it is around the edge only makes me think you concentrated on the center of the design and didn't do it as well around the edges.  But that's just a guess.
