apartment hunting

Hello ladies! FH and I will be apartment hunting soon as our wedding is a approaching. We are looking to settle in the 78233 area by the Forum and I35-Loop 1604.

We will be looking at apartments and maybe even rent homes. We will be on a tight budget for a while so we are looking for nice but affordable suggestions. If any of you have any recommendations, we would appreciate it!

I've been thinking about where I could tell you to look (I live a little farther north than you want to be -in Schertz) and I know that there's a fairly new apartment complex at 1604 & Lookout Rd. There's also a new one in Schertz, but I would even bother looking there because it's literally right next to train tracks and the train is loud when it goes by. I can tell you that it would be better to stay at 1604 or go farther north rather than south. The farther south you get on 35, the worse the neighborhoods get. If you are willing to go farther north, I'm sure there are some nice, decently-priced rental homes in Schertz/Selma/Live Oak. I would also check around the Judson Rd area (outside 1604!), too. If you have any questions about the area, feel free to ask! I've lived in Schertz for almost 4 years and have been in the SA area for almost 15!

try some of the apt locators. I will look for the locator's card that I used. When I moved since I used the company they gave us movers for 2 hrs!!
