laptop charger serial numbers?
ugh - what a way to start off 2012 at my business. One of my employees thinks another stole her laptop charger. She thinks the guy left his in Phoenix at his last business trip and then came back and took hers.
Does anybody know if there's a way to tell which charger should be with which laptop? Or any other suggestions on how to handle this?
Apparently none of my employees had "act like an adult with some sense" as their resolutions.

Not really. Not unless your IT Dept. recorded the assets. Tell her to go on Amazon and by a new one. They are only $10 or so. Or....you could be real nice and buy it for her.
Not that anyone should have to buy a new one but with no real proof this guy actually stole hers....
Sorry but I find this comical. Some adults are worse than kids LOL.

unfortunately since I just started the company in March - we're still pretty small and only a team of 5 so I'm basically the IT department and I was not smart enough to write down both the serial numbers on the chargers AND the laptops. I just did the laptops - I made the fatal business owner mistake of assuming people had sense.
I was so annoyed because i gave them ALL of last week off and before I left I gave them all a big "we're a team and we all need to give a lot" pep talk and everyone seemed excited. damn you employees.
