Angi, SO, is an artist - painting. She pulls together a lot of jobs to make a full time year round career of it. She's the lead painter for the Shakespeare Festival, is serving as adjunct at our college for a term, and paints reproductions of abstracts at a studio. She recently just finished a $15K piece for the Trump Towers. But the way it's set up at the studio, she maybe made $600 on the painting and doesn't get to put her name on it. Terrible, no? But at least she's doing her art in as many ways as she can.
People always assume I make more money because of who I work for, plus the whole "starving artist" stigma. Truth is she makes more annually.
