My vet made a donation in Kitty's name

I thought that was really nice of her. Losing a pet is so hard but it certainly makes a big difference to have a good vet help you through it all. I'm thankful for that.

I had never heard of this charity before - Morris Animal Foundation - but it looks like they do a lot of work researching animal health and trying to find cures.

I think I was extra touched because we'd only been going to her for a year... it's not like we are long time clients or anything. She's just a really nice lady!

I believe that is the same charity my vet in NH makes the donations to when you lose a pet. I cry every time I receive the cards from them. Unfortunately, my cats are all very old and leaving me one after the other.
