Commercials
Is it just me or were commercials during the bowl game last night disturbing? As in if you aren't a clean cut, conservative looking person you aren't worthy of being treated as such?
I hated two of the commercials I saw particularly; one where they protrayed a daughter getting mixed up with the "wrong guy" because he has tattoos/piercings/dyed hair and another where a long haired/knit-hat wearing young man was made out to be beneith a balding middle aged man.
Maybe it's just me but don't like stereotyping or judgy and these pissed me off.
If the family were a fruit, it would be an orange, a circle of sections, held together but separable - each segment distinct. ~Letty Cottin Pogrebin
