I know it's very early in pg, but I've been waiting a long, long time so I'm starting to research baby equipment. One of the strollers I am interested in only comes in black. Is it ridiculous to even consider this option considering the Phoenix climate.

Re: Black stroller?
I'm curious to see what others say because I just bought a new black jogging stroller and I hope I didn't make a huge mistake. But in my opinion it seems like most strollers for sale are darker in color. Shrugs
BTW congrats on the pregnancy! H&H 9 months!
First of all CONGRATS on your BFP, that si so exciting and I wish you a H&H 9 months.
In regards to the stroller I am probably not much help, ours is grey and orange. But I don't see why it would be a problem I can't imagine you being out a TON in it in the summer, mostly from the car to the store so it shouldn't get any warmer then any other stroller. But I too am curious to see what others who have black ones already have to say.
congrats on your long awaited BFP! how exciting!
ours is black and grey. i honestly really didn't think about the color when we picked it. over the summer she was a newborn and it was to hot to go for any walks but now its awesome and we're getting our use from it. i think since your going from the car to indoor climate during the hotTer months it shouldn't be a real problem but if we're outside for a long period during the summer I'd probably use a frozen water bottle to help cool her down. like i said, don't really see that happening
I probably wouldn't...but that's just my preference. I figure I'm uncomfortable sitting on something black in the summer heat, so the LO would too. I guess it depends on how much you plan on being out in the sunshine, but even in the spring, the sun is hot and the black would just straight absorb all of that heat.
Which stroller is it? Maybe we could help find a similar alternative in case you don't want to go with the black?
Great stroller!
If you can find a compatible liner I think that is a fantastic solution! Etsy might even be a good place to get a custom made one.
Some strollers with similar highlights as the Promenade (although I don't think anything compares to it's simple fold release!) are - Britax B-Ready, UPPAbaby Vista (we have this one and are in love with it), Baby Jogger City Select or the Peg Perego Skate.
Good luck on your search and congratulations on your pregnancy
