Re: My cousin is in labor

  • Oh no! Sending tons of good vibes her way! Keep us posted.

  • Oh man.  That's so scary.  I hope everything goes as well as it possibly can.
  • Oh no! I hope they are able to stop it and keep baby in longer.

They have been trying to for weeks! The poor girl has been in the hospital since thanksgiving.

  • Oh no!  I hope everything works out.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • He's here!!! Little Avery, 2 pounds!

Mom is doing SO MUCH BETTER. Blood pressure now out of dangerous category. Baby stable.

  • Wow! Tons of t&p to the little guy and his mom and dad.

    Does she have pre-e?

Yes. And Toxemia, if I remember right.

And her BP shot back up and she's still in recovery. They have still not been able to see the baby. Hopefully soon though.

Oh no! My mother had toxemia with me (her 2nd), but none of her other pregnancies. That is terrible.

But baby is doing as well as can be expected for a 27-weeker?

I hope so, they don't know, no one has told them anything yet and they haven't been able to see him. Dad has to take a class before visiting, so he was hoping they would set that up ASAP (like this morning).

  • Wow, scary! Good thoughts to the little fighter. I hope your cousin is able to see the baby soon.
  • I hope everything is ok! Sending all sorts of good vibes to your cousin and the baby.
  • Just revisiting this post now.  Sending lots of good thoughts to your cousin and her little fighter.  Keep us updated.
