Answer only if you have a flat screen:
What size TV(s) do you have and are you happy with your choice?
I want a new one, as we still have one of those huge tube ones, but I can't seem to pick a size.
TIA
Re: Your TV(s)
We have a 42" in the bedroom. Our room is pretty big, so it works. I was happy with the 27" we had in there, but DH wanted something bigger. The 27" is now in my sewing room.
There is a 56" in the upstairs living room, and I'm happy with the size. I think the size works well with the fireplace it sits above.
In the basement we have a projector, and the screen size is something like 120". I thought that was going to be ridiculous when we were finishing the basement, but I really like it. It's great for watching football games and movies. It's nice when we have people over because everyone can see the screen from anywhere in the room.
We have a 27" in our bedroom. It seems so small but we rarely watch it.
We have a 56" in the living room and love it!
We have a 46" (I think) downstairs on the wall and it's perfect for our space. The room is longer than it is wide so we couldn't go much bigger.
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone

We have a 46 inch in our living room and at first I thought it was way to big (going from a 25 inch tube) but now that I'm used to it I don't think that I would want to go smaller.
I think that we are going to get something in the 30's for our room next year and one for C's room with a DVD player built in next year as well.

Well, I think this thread has helped quite a bit. I now want a gigantic T.V. because all my internet friends have one. Gee, thanks guys.
My husband and wallet aren't pleased with any of you.
No, in all seriousness, thanks to the advice, I've decided to do more research and have measured the space between where the T.V. will be and where people will sit, I think I have determined that I will want a bigger T.V. than I first thought. We have an open concept house and I don't want to be squinting when I am walking around.
