So I know I don't post here much.....but I have to brag on my Zoey girl. I have been trying for several months to get her to lose weight and it just wasn't coming off. Lately I have noticed she looked slimmed down a little so I was crossing my fingers she lost a couple pounds. I scheduled an appointment for her blood work to make sure her medicine she's taking isn't causing complications with her liver. While we were there I asked them to weigh her. I am SO PROUD to announce......Zoey has lost 8 POUNDS!!!!!!

I am so excited!!!! Back in November she weighed 79.8 lbs.....today she weighed 71.8. Yay! Plus, her blood work came back normal.....double yay!!

Now....if I could just lose a little weight!

lol.
Re: AW: Yay Zoey!!!
Great! What's the target weight (for Zoey)?
This post title confused the heck out of me: my dog's name is Zoey, too!! Hahaha!
Glad your Z is finally shedding some pounds! I've been trying to get my chubby grey kitty to lose a little weight. It's a veeeeery slow process, but she's getting there!
B/w 1/8: betas 17,345, progesterone 25.6
The vet said he would be pleased if she weighed anywhere from 65lb-70lb. So she's just about there! :-) Her sister was the runt and weighs 65lb so I think Zoey will be fine at 70lb. She is a pibble and has a broad chest so I think she would look funny if she was too skinny.....her chest is huge.
Zoey is a good name for adorable doggies.
Good luck getting your cat to lose weight! The only way we got my childhood cat to lose weight was get a kitten to chase him around all day. lol. But then he died soon after....miss my baby boy.
Its weird going to visit my mom and not have him sleeping at the foot of the bed (that was his spot even after I moved away.....he'd always sleep with me when I came to visit).
