    Shops, restraunts, bars so we can walk. I also want to go zip lining and maybe horseback riding for the first time . This is a child free getaway lol.

    What time of year are you looking at going?  I know certain times of the year are cheaper than others.  The summertime is when you are looking at peak prices.

    I think under 170 a night is going to be tough for summer in Lake George, close to the strip with the bars and shopping and lake. If you're willing to make concessions, there are fun places to stay on other parts of the lake but require a taxi for bars, etc. To be honest, there aren't many great ones in the touristy part of LG.
