Dress length poll (non-clicky)

How short/long are your dresses typically? My dressy ones are longer, definitely at or below the knees. I swear every time I get a new casual dress DH says it's too short even if it's just a little above the knees. I'm pretty self conscious and won't wear anything too short. I feel like he's being a prude or subtly trying to tell me I'm too fat.

My dresses range from just below the knee to just above.  All of my single piece skirts are just above the knee.  Just above the knee is not too short at all.

These days, I think tights /leggings and boots make any skirt acceptable .

For more formal dresses I tend to have long or at least tea-length, but that is also a length I really like and think it looks better on me than other lengths.  For work I wear at or below knee length because I am bending down, sitting on the floor, and crouching a lot in my job with kiddos.  I think knee-length is perfectly acceptable.

Ditto!  I don't have any dresses that are past my knees.

I don't think I have any work dresses or skirts that are below the knee.  yesterday I wore a black and white shift dress that was probably 6" above my knee (I'm tall) - with a black jacket and black tights - so I don't think it looked to short.
