make fun of me
I have been teary last night and this morning because tonight is my first night alone at my new place (my roommate is oot and I have stayed with a friend from Sunday to last night- because I am a baby and dont want to be alone).

It's understandable that you don't want to be alone right now. You've been through a lot. Are you able to keep busy?
I cried my first night alone in my OLD place (when XH had left for Christmas holidays and I hadn't left yet, a week after I asked him for a split, and was freaking out because I didn't want to be alone).
I cried my first night alone in my NEW place (no roomies).
But I love my place now
You will grow to love yours, too. Perhaps sooner than you think.
I put on a pair of hideous flannel cat pajamas and got drunk the first night in my new place... Then the douchebag I was mistakenly involved with verbally abused me and hung up on me... god he was a d*ck but I was a mess so it goes without saying...
I know it's hard, but it hopefully it becomes a sort of "nest" for healing and growth!
I was a mess after exH moved out too...I hated seeing his stuff everywhere and hated being there alone too. DS was with me but he was 1 at the time so not much comfort.
GL girl, I felt like that too.
This is normal. But you're going to be ok. I distracted myself by thinking of all of the cute furniture and crap I was going to fill my apartment with.
I'm sorry things are hard now. They get better, I promise.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
Ditto!! My dog is the consistant most loyal boy in my life lol.
