Congrats to Charity and her new little girl, and Mandee on her BFP!!
Moms and moms-to-be, and those TTC, we want to hear about what's going on with you, your babies and bumps. Feel free to be a complete AW.
What's new? Ups? Downs?
Bonus points for PIPs!

Re: Babies and bumps (to-be)
Not to much change in the boys, so I thought I would share a couple of pics from Christmas Eve, they were playing at Grammy & Grampy's. Sorry for those of you on FB if you have seen these, but these are from their.
Zach - playing under the chari with his bus. He loves to play in the oddest places.
Christian getting ready to throw the ball - hmm possible pitcher on our hands?
Time is flying!
I've discovered that one of the downsides of starting to "pop" is that my back is getting more sore. You'd think I've have back muscles of steel from lugging my boobs around for so long, but apparently this is new. Oh well! Here's the bump as of this morning:
Last night it was past by boobs, but looks to have shrunk a little over night.
I started back exercising last week which was both good and bad. Good because it felt great to be pushing myself again, bad because I need to learn not to push so hard. I think tonight I'll tack on an extra 5 minutes, but consciously scale back the intensity a bit.
Ups would be the fantastic pregnancy pillow Derek got me for Christmas. It's called a Snoggle and omg makes sleeping awesome. Rolling over is a bit tough, but I'm getting used to just staying on one side, so that's good.
The only real down right now is the fact that I very badly need to order a new bra. This one is just getting tight and really uncomfortable. I'm so jealous of all the more "normal" booby sized ladies that can just run out to the store and pick up any old bra for $30.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Not much to report! THis was Jordan on Christmas morning. He loves his mario robe. He lost ANOTHER tooth 2 days ago. We only have 4 more left to go. He has my horrible teeth and is going to need braces ASAP. So I am ready for him to get his big teeth in so we can get them all straight and looking nice!
That is Preston on Christmas morning. We started this week with no cup going to bed. So he is now completly self soothing himself to sleep. I thought it was going to be a nightmare but he has done fine and goes right to sleep. It proves it was time for everything to go. He can now point to his belly, belly button, hair, head, toes, hands, and nose. Every now and then he does his eyes. It amazes me how much babies really knows and understand.
Raynes, you look awesome!
I noticed yesterday that I've started to bloat out a bit - and I definitely don't think it's Christmas cookie related, since I don't generally tend to put on the fat the way it's currently looking.
But I could totally just be imagining things! I think it's going to be time to get some maternity pants soon. I think my jeans aren't going to fit very shortly.

Ups - Had a great A/S last week and finally feeling more excited about the pregnancy, than fearful. She's getting a lot stronger and movement is becoming a lot more consistent. Pete felt the first kick on Xmas Eve, and then 2 more on New Years, and again last night. It's so nice that he gets to feel it too, I think it helps make her more real to him.
Other than that, feeling pretty good. Starting pre-natal yoga tonight and the nursery is fully painted.
This was on Monday, I was officially Half Baked.

raynes & E - loving the bumps!
I am 6weeks along today. I got the call from my doctor's office yesterday confirming that I am indeed pregnant, and the nurse said that my levels are high enough that I won't need to schedule anymore blood work. hCG was 2769 and Progesterone was at 12.1.
I set up my first appointment for the 26th of this month... I'll be a little over 9 weeks then. I'll be able to hear the heartbeat and we'll have a sono as well. very excited about that!
I'm still feeling very cautious, but trying my best to relax and not worry as much, as I know it won't get me anywhere. I may request to have more blood work done in a week or so just to ensure levels are increasing. we'll see.

I'm really hoping to make it to the end of January in my current pants! So long as the Christmas weight shifts a bit (which it probably will now that I'm back to being car free and have to walk everywhere), I have slight hope. I'm feeling too cheap to buy stuff!
ECHC - you look amazing. Seriously. And I love your shirt!
Mandee - that's awesome!

I'm still feeling very well. My back is starting to get sore after running but I'm still keeping at it. I love feeling kicks but DH hasn't been able to catch any yet. Hopefully soon.
Tonight we start are prenatal classes and I think I might start my registry on Monday day off. I've been having a hard time trying to find a crib that I like but I think I might have just found a winner from Costco online.
Yesterday I had 2 random strangers comment on my pregnancy so it's nice to know that I definitely look pregnant and not just fat! I'm still afraid someone at the gym will see me, think I'm fat and that I'm just a resolutioner. lol
Since I'm at work I'll have to just aw a bump pic later tonight.
Have you looked into a support belt for running? Some of the H&F mama's swear/swore by them.
First world problem alert: I have no idea if anyone will be throwing me a shower. No one has talked to me about it, and I'm fairly certain it's widely known that I'm not a fan of surprises.
I don't have a lot of close IRL friends and the whole thing just sort of makes me sad.
First world problem, party of me.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Aw, if it helps any, I'll be joining that pity party too. We should throw each other a joint shower.

You ladies look great! I am really excited to see all these beautiful babies!
)
And all the LOs are growing up so fast!
Nothing too crazy to report with Makenna. She is a little character. Loves to make us laugh. She is talking more and more each day. Sometimes I feel like there is an echo in the house. Today we were down the basement doing laundry and Neiko (our dog) was at the top of the steps crying/barking to come down. I yelled up, "Neiko shush" and Makenna came running across the basement to help, saying "Eiko....coming....Eiko?! Coming..." Then she yelled from the bottom of the steps up to him "Eiko, no. Eiko, husssh"

E & raynes, the bumps look great!
Um, so not only did Darian just put himself to sleep just now (which he's been doing for weeks as long as we put him on his belly - he's always been a tummy sleeper), but he actually turned on his own mobile and then flipped to his belly and fell asleep. This is a big deal.
I signed us up for mom & tot swim classes starting next week! Woot! My amazing next door neighbour gave me her son's old baby wetsuit which I guess I'll make good use of.
Ah shoot, he's up again.
raynes & kaesha, I would totally come to your joint shower!!!
Baby #2: Surprise BFP 9.19.12, EDD 5.24.13, natural m/c 10.19.13 at 9w
I'm not around all that often but I'll play!
Ups: Parker's at such a fun age. She loves chasing the dog around the house, pushing anything that moves, and giving hugs and kisses. She repeats, or at least tries to repeat, most of what we say. She thinks it's hilarious when we ask her where her belly is--she lifts up her shirt and cracks up.
Downs: Parker had a bad tummy ache on NYE and we're now dealing with sleep regression. We bedshare but she won't lay down in the bed at night. We have to stroll her around in the stroller in the house to get her to fall asleep, then we can move her to the bed...Silly girl.
We're also TTC. Last cycle was my first cycle postpartum and I ended up with a CP. Hopefully this cycle works out. Charting with a toddler who wakes up mutliple times a night isn't too easy so it's hard to tell when I O. We shall see!
ETA: I love these posts--seeing all the bumps and babies is too much fun!

I love the stage where we are at now. For the most part Olivia will play by herself for bits of time so that I can cook, clean or do whatever without always having to hold her or sit with her. She's becoming more independent but still needs mommy and daddy to give her lots of cuddles and hugs. She is really curious and loves playing with toys that require grasping or pushing buttons. She loves babies and her reflection in the mirror always makes her laugh.
The downside is the teething. She had been sleeping thru the night since two months old. The teething started at around 5 months and since then, we have nights where she'll STTN some nights, wake up multiple times, or just once a night. We never know how it's going to go. Thankfully DH and I take turns so we're both able to rest but it's still exhausting.
Even though it's 4 months away, I am starting the planning for her 1st birthday already. Where has the time gone?!
I love hearing the updates and Raynes and ECHC look adorable!
Not too much to update: I am about to break out my maternity uniforms for work...my stomach is begging to be in elastic and not the horrible button up pants. I was trying to hold off for a couple more weeks, because then everyone at work will know (the maternity Army uniform is completely different than the regular uniforms). I am so uncomfortable that I just need to take the plunge and do it.
I'm late to the game, but I'll play.
I still have a nameless little boy, poor guy. I'm hoping to have at least 2 ready by the time I deliver!
Other than that, not a whole lot going on. I was 31 weeks yesterday. He moves and rolls around so much that it's starting to be uncomfortable, but it's still awesome. I broke down and bought my first pair of maternity jeans yesterday and I must say that they are AWESOME! My next appt is the 23rd then I believe I start going every 2 weeks.
Can't wait for my little guy to get here!
I'm 8 weeks today. Being back at school has been good--it seems to be distracting me from my m/s...though this morning was touch and go [:/}. I'm doing okay as long as I keep plenty of snacks on hand. Also, I still haven't been cleared for exercise as I am still spotting a little here and there, so I am feeling like the increase of snacking+no normal exercise is meaning I am gaining weight a bit faster than I intended. Oh well...not much I can do about it if I want to stay feeling well--and at least I am trying most of the time to have healthy snacks.
I just made my appointment with my new midwives for Monday morning and just barely made it to my old office this afternoon to transfer my files (I am going out of town tomorrow, so this was the only chance I had and they close at 4:30...I got there at 4:37...I am looking forward to getting set up at this new practice, though I am a little nervous to have to meet new people.

Hayden is 5 days old today. I feel like she changes and grows everyday. It's very bittersweet. I still find myself putting my hand on my stomach only to remember, duh, she isn't there anymore. She's sleeping great and we are adjusting really well so far. I hope things stay like this! Jason is completely in love and wrapped around her finger, it's awesome! We have her first drs appt tomorrow and her newborn photos so i'm super excited! I still have no idea how to post pics from my phone so you'll just have to trust me that she only gets cuter!
I love hearing about all the babies and bellies! I miss my belly (never thought I'd say that) so I'll just relive it through you ladies!
I will buy a support belt at some point but didn't really think I needed it yet since my belly isn't bothering me WHILE I'm running. But, duh, this makes sense to use it since it has been hurting after.
That does suck about not knowing if you're going to have a shower. Something similar happened with my bridal shower...my Dad's sisters said they wanted to do it but then no one ever actually did anything about it. My SIL, Mom's sisters and BMs wanted to do it, too, so they stepped up.
It's too late now so I'm tired and don't want to take a bump pic so I might just have to aw myself tomorrow in my own post so I feel like a special snowflake. lol
RE: Showers with our situation we never had a shower, and it's one of the things I was really sad about not having. However, we did have a welcome home party for Myles that was hosted by our parents. I like the idea of a Raynes/Kaesha shower!
In Myles news he's finally feeling better, and I still am in awe by how big this guy is getting every day. He has his 6 month check up tomorrow and I'm anxious to hear his stats.
Downs: I'm starting to get a little concerned about him not meeting milestones that younger babies are meeting, but I have to remember that he's 1) a huge kid and that's a lot of baby to move, and 2) he was born early. I'm going to ask the doctor about it tomorrow.
Ups: He has such an awesome personality, that comes out more and more every day with giggles and belly laughs. It's also funny to watch him learn to play with his toys he got for Christmas.
TTC for J and I is rather depressing right now. we try and nothing happens. Plus my body has started screwing with me. I have been getting pregnancy symptoms wich made me think we had finally done it only for AF to decided to rear her ugly head with spotting.
so no Ups. in DOwns I am depressed but happy for all of you guys.
Life has been crazy here. Edmund has been extremely cranky and not sleeping well. He broke his first tooth through and is working on cutting the second one. It's made for several sleepless nights and a couple late night phone calls to H at work to take a lunch and calm him down.
He turned 8 months last Friday. He has gotten to spend a lot of time with his great grandma while she was up here visiting for the holiday.
8 month photo
Edmund and great grandma
Edmund and mommy playing
He can pass out anywhere
I'm late, but I still wanted to AW a bit.
We're in sleeping hell around here, but I know it should get better. My fear is we'll figure out this no swaddle thing and then he'll start cutting teeth. I have a feeling I shouldn't expect to sleep for the next 18 years, right? I'm tired just thinking about it.
Jackson has started to sit up on his own and likes to play by himself. He squawks and babbles quite a bit right now, and it's absolutely hilarious. I think he'd sit up better if he didn't assume that he could just get up and go towards whatever toy he wants next. I swear he's going to just stand up and run away one day. He loves to stand, much more than sitting, so burping after bottles is pretty difficult.
Last night we had some awesome progress with solids. We did oatmeal and I sneak attacked with some peaches. Success! In fact, he made sure to reach up and tilt his head way back to get everything off the spoon. I'm trying to wean from breastmilk so I can start sleeping and get my boobs back. I'm okay with it I think, but I will miss the comforting effects of just being able to nurse when he's hungry and not have to make a bottle while listening to him scream. 6 months was my goal, and I should have just enough freezer stash, mixed with what's left in the boobs to make it.
