A few of you may remember me posting two weeks ago:

Short Story: Guy drops dog off at my shelter 3 days before Christmas because he couldn't afford the dog, he and his 3 yr old son were crying and I was absolutely heart broken.
Well... We adopted the dog! He's about 2.5 yrs old, really underweight, minor kennel cough (it's going around my shelter, but he wasn't there long enough to get it too bad, already started his antibiotics), he and Reesey are getting along great.
Just wanted to say thanks to those of you who answered my questions about a month ago on advice on bringing home a second dog. We were very careful with the introduction, and slowly but surely after a day or so, let them off leash together in the house and they've been good ever since! He currently sleeps in his cage at night and is in there during the day while we're not home, but hopefully in a while once we trust them, we can let them both out together. (Reesey has full roam of first floor). He is housebroken (well, 1 accident so far since Friday night, not worried), he knows down, sit and paw. And we already have him signed up for training! Hopefully we'll have two canine good citizens soon! Reesey will join him in training for a refresher and because she loved class so much.
Now, for a picture, of course! Feel free to chime in and tell me what breed you think he may be, because we have no clue. We've been told shepard, pit, basenji, collie, sheltie...
Reesey is on left, her new brother Squirt, is on right. (that was his name... We didn't have the heart to change it. He needs a middle name! Any ideas?)
Re: AW!! PIP! Our new rescue! (update from 'poor kid' post)
Congrats!! He's so handsome! He definitely seems to have Collie coloring, but I'd expect a bit fluffier of a coat. I guess pitties can have that sort of widows peak look on their foreheads, too, though, right?
So glad you guys took him home!! That post made me soooo sad, for everyone involved. Yay for a quick turnaround to a new (forever) home!

Awwww...He looks like a Squirt! I think the name fits him !
I think there's def. some pit in there some where...and probably a few other breeds, too! He's adorable!
Ditto this! What a nice addition to the family! Congratulations!
