Juicing?

Does anyone do this? My H is on a kick now that he wants to try this. He made some carrot/spinach/lemon thing today that looked like, um, what would be in a diaper. It didn't smell great either. But I tasted it, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I guess it's supposed to be really good for you, but maybe there are recipes that are better than others? Anyone know of any?

Re: Juicing?

  • I did this for a while since I hate vegetables, I mainly would do kiwi, bananas, strawberries and mango or pineapple and then add greens spinach, barley, wheat grass, broccoli etc.. I sometimes also add coconut water.

Are you on pinterest? There?s some recipes on there as well!

It started getting difficult because I worked all day and went to school all night so I started drinking the green naked smoothie which is delicious! A little expensive but worth it for my schedule, I?m finally done with school and ill be a stay at home wife and mom to a puppy(lol) end on January while I get licensed etc..so ill get back to juicing J

     Sorry that was a mouthful!

Thanks for the ideas! No, I'm not on pinterest, do I need a invite to join?

  • Carrot, Apple, Ginger <- my favorite combo.

I have a champion juicer.  It is pretty cool, but collecting dust since I prefer smoothies (you can put in fruits and veggies in those as well).

Thanks! I guess the apple would give it sweetness. And, I have everything but the ginger. I have no idea if our juicer is good or not, but it's Sharper Image.

Juice and drink asap.  It doesn't keep well.
