A thank you and a PIP introduction of our new cat!
Thanks so much to those who gave me advice on bringing a new cat into our home with our two dogs/baby.
We adopted our new little guy last week and things seem to be going well! I took all of your advice and did the gradual introduction. He still has a "sanctuary" where he seems to like to spend his down time, but he's really spending more and more time out with us and the dogs in the family room. The dogs are a bit freaked out by him but are slowly getting more trusting. The baby thinks the cat is hilarious!
Anywhere, here's Sullivan (Sully). He's about 5 months and a little ball of personality.

Awwww...he looks so soft and cuddly!
It took one of our pups about 2 months before she was ok to be around the cat. She was super excited and thought he was a new play toy for her.
It sounds like he is acclimating really well to everyone - it's always adorable when the baby thinks a new pet is hilarious!
OMG he's so HANDSOME! I have always loved that type of solid gray coloring on cats. Perhaps someday I'll find one for myself!
Congrats! It sounds like he's settling in nicely!

Sully's super playful (as most 5 month old kittens are!) so he just wants to bat at them and chase their tails etc. The dogs react like he's attacking them. They're kind of big wusses :P
But even over this past week they've all gotten more comfortable! I'm so excited for them to (hopefully) become friends.
5 cats. 1 baby.
