What time do you go to bed?
I think I need to move up my bed time. Curious what's "normal".
Re: What time do you go to bed?
I've always thought my bedtime was 10:30 but if I actually do make it into bed by 10:30, I never actually turn out the lights/tv/computer/whatever until 11 or 11:30.
I need to get more sleep.

We try to in bed by 11:00. When I was single and working i was usually in bed by 10:15.
So Tasty, So Yummy
Funny, DH and I were just discussing today how we need to make ourselves go to sleep earlier. We have a hard time getting up on time and rarely wake up feeling rested. We generally lay down at 10:30, it's been later recently, but might still watch tv/play on the iPad/play with the dogs for any length of time so *actual* sleeping time is usually only about 6 hours.
It doesn't help that my preferred sleeping arrangements include complete silence and darkness...whereas DH HAS to have a tv on in the room to sleep because of constant ringing in his ears.
I definitely envy people who bounce out of bed and enjoy their mornings!
Most nights I get in bed by 8 and watch tv/play on my tablet. I try to go to sleep around 9. Anything after 9:30 is late for me!
Yep. My day starts early at5:45 usually so I need to go to sleep early!
It's erratic right now b/c of the new baby and b/c I'm on mat. leave, so I'll answer pre-baby, when I'm working - Usually midnight. However, I don't leave for work until around 8-8:30 am, so it's not as late as it seems. (I usually wake up around 7:30-7:45am).
I'm jealous of everyone who stays up later than I do, I wonder what time y'all wake up.
I like to get in bed between 9 - 9:30 every night. Although sometimes it's closer to 8. I read until I fall asleep. Usually that takes 5 - 10 minutes.
I wake up between 5:30 & 6:30. And I definitely don't bounce out of bed, I'm no morning person, I enjoy my sleep.
In bed between 8:30-9:30. But I'm up between 4:00-4:30 most mornings.
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted and used against you. My Blog
Gracious, y'all go to bed late! DH and I always say we are so old because we can't stay up late. DH is usually asleep on the couch by 9:30 if he hasn't gone to bed by then. We like to go to bed together so if he's up past 9:30 then we'll both go to bed between 9:30 and 10. If he goes to bed earlier then I sometimes stay up until around 10:30, or rarely 11.
If I had to pick 1 time I'd say 10pm.

Usually between 11:30-12:30. Too late, but I don't see how else to do it. After Char goes to bed (b/t 8-8:30), I'm doing dishes, laundry, cleaning up, making her lunch for school if she has it the next day, meal planning, doing Bible study, online doing stuff....and then I usually shower at night and I like to try and watch a show or two on TV while I'm on the computer. Heck, it's usually 10 or so before I even finish whatever chore I have for the night, and then I just want to relax.
Ugh. I don't know how to move my bedtime up.
This. Our usual is between 10:30 and 11. By the time we deal with DD, eat and either spend a few minutes relaxing/do stuff that needs to be done around the house, I wouldn't know how to move my bed time back.
Pretty much this. I would like to/should go to bed between 10 and 10:30, but most nights I just can't get everything done in time for that. And when I do I had to run around like such a headless chicken to get everything done, that I'm all wound up and can't sleep. I usually get in bed between 10:30 and 11 and read until 11 to 11:30. I'm tired.
ETA: Like the PPs said I would like to go to bed earlier but I don't know how to make it happen. I get home around 6, make dinner, eat dinner, play with kiddo for a few minutes, bath, books, put him to bed, we do dishes, make lunches, clean up a little, relax/watch TV for about 30 minutes to an hour then it's showers and we get ready for bed. I think I need to take shorter showers, or something, I don't know.
