Oh boy it's tax time again, I love this time of year and hate it all at the same time! I am wondering if anyone in the Poughkeepsie/Kingston area or any town in between has a recommendation for an accountant in this area?

Between my husband and I we have alot of information that we need to file and us doing it on our own via turbo tax or some other site does not seem smart this year....

We go to Joe Coratti in Hyde Park. He is very reasonable (my hubby is a business owner so we pay a little more but it's still less than we paid last year) and really nice. His # is 233-5500. With the exception of last year because we were super late with filing (like reallyyyyyy late and he just couldn't fit us in), we have gone to him for the past 5 years.

We have used taxpert in hopewl jct. we had a class c corporation as well as our personal taxes. I also work in ct so it is an extra state. They would charge around 1200.  I just learned how to do the taxes because I was too cheap. I really liked them.

I've used both Gillman and Cioccia in Newburgh and Stanley, Marks and Co and have had great results with both.  Probably will be going to Stanley Marks again this year.  Both are on the expensive side and located in Newburgh

We use Hague and Hauge in Marlboro ..845236-4717 he is right on rt9w across from racoon salon and next to key bank..Very reasonable but super busy. Al the owner always fits us in though and he is super nice. You have to usually call and leave a message and he will call you back.

he does all my family and sevearl friends now and we all like him!
