I hope I don't regret this kitten business... I had planned on one adult cat and I am not sure how I ended up at this point with 2 kittens instead. Yikes! Oh who am I kidding... my house is already chaos with a toddler, why not throw this into the mix too!

I'm so excited for you and your future family members. You (and your husband) are so incredibly awesome for taking in these babies.
Lots of fun kitty toys and each other - that's all they'll really need to be entertained.
Oh, and help me name the twitchy one! I can't keep calling him Twitchy and I won't keep Leo because a lady I can't stand at the shelter named him, so it's on principle.
They are both tuxedo kitties - short haired one is Spencer and we'll keep that. What should I name long-haired one?
(Oh and in case anyone remembers the 100 times I have said on here that I will never have another long haired cat... sigh... apparently I will!)
What about Marty? (Like Michael Fox's Back to the Future character?)

I'm not a fan of Marty - sorry ladies! I will post pics as soon as I have some. I have a cute little video on my blackberry but I have no idea how to get it off! (I'm like an 89 year old with technology sometimes).
I discovered poop on the bath mat on the 1st floor this morning. Lily has never pooped out of the box in t he 11 years I've had her and now she does right before I bring her home stress! Ugh! Off to order more Feliway...

Hmm...name...honestly, Twitch! LOL! I think it's adorable.
Otherwise, I was going to suggest a name from Happy Feet (penguins...tuxedoes...following me? lol), but I don't see any great ones. In case one strikes your fancy, though, the guys are: Nestor, Raul, Ramon, Rinaldo, Lombardo, Mumble, or Seymour.

And somehow, in some ways, it makes me miss my KittyCat even more. :-(

It wouldn't be mean at all! I think it'd be super cute and endearing. It's not like you're calling the cat sh!thead or something.
I understand it making you miss Kitty, too. There are plenty of days I still miss my kitty guy (who was also an orange tabby, btw), especially when S2 is acting particularly "dog-like." R was a total dog-cat!

I'm a lurker on here but thought I'd pipe in on the name. I think twitch is cute and totally not mean. My cat is named Crash. We were set on a different name but the first night we had him over at my SILs house with wood floors, he kept running, sliding and crashing into the wall and the name just stuck. He still lives up to it a year and a half later!
