You know, the diet pill that lets you eat everything in sight and still lose weight? Cause I feel like that's the only way I'll ever lose weight. I feel like a bottomless pit today. It's like no matter how much I eat, it isn't enough. I tried to be "good" and had a lovely well-rounded salad with turkey for dinner.... followed by a bunch of Hershey's kisses (leftover from making Christmas cookies), 2 pieces of toast, and then later another 2 pieces of toast! It was the same thing at lunch. I had a really delicious salad, but then ate a bunch of leftover Kit Kats and Reese's bells. ![]()
Tomorrow is a new day, right? First thing in the morning I'm dropping the rest of the leftover candy in the teacher's lounge since clearly I have 0 self control.

Re: When are they going to invent that diet pill?!
I know what you mean. Whenever I cut back and eat more healthy I feel I am hungry all.the.time. Sometimes I wonder if in the end I am really doing any better.
GL tomorrow. You can do it!!
I just hopped back on the sparkpeople tracking bandwagon yesterday. It's the only thing that keeps me accountable to myself. I'm within my calories and I'm HUNGRY. I can't wait until my body remembers what reasonable portions are again.

Sorry you had a tough day. (((HUGS))) I'm in the same boat. Sometimes I just wish a healthy diet wasn't so hard to maintain...
For some reason I'm starving this week and eating everything in sight... After only having a smoothie for breakfast, and a small portion of veggie baked ziti for lunch, I was hungry all afternoon! No wonder I made a superb dinner choice -- I thought seriously about some liquid cheese (thanks ladies), but instead had Noodles & Co Chili Mac. Seriously. My thought process went a little like this:

Why do I do this??? I need to revamp my routine I think. The working out at lunch isn't happening. And if I'm starving I don't work out before I come home (also need to pack more snacks, I was out today). The home workouts aren't cutting it, and I don't need to binge on macaroni and cheese, like EVER.Ugh...i'm so sorry. I don't know about you but i'm so much hungrier in the winter than I am in the summer.
Have you tried chewing gum? It keeps you from putting anything else in your mouth.

((hugs)) Those days suck! Hopefully today will be better.
The only thing I can see is that its tons of carbs. If you double your protien portions, does that help fill you up?

All this. My "pill" seems to be filling up on veggies preemptively, which only sometimes doesn't feel like a chore, but results in me being able to avoid junk fook meltdowns. (That and there is now no junk food in my house, except booze, and honey, Keri confesses to saving calories to make sure she doesn't have to skip that entirely.)
