Cardinal Pet Gate? (or other recs!)

Gooooooood morning!
In search for a pet gate, one that is semi attractive and not wooden if possible since it will be going on the stairs. While Dex LOVES running from floor to floor, Momma does not enjoy the constant chase lol. My dad bought me a PetCo giftcard for Christmas since he knew a 1/3 of each paycheck was going to Dex every 2 weeks so I'd like to get it from there if possible. Saw this Cardinal Auto-Lock Pressure Gate but the review was nooooooooooo good. I'll PIP it so you can see what I'm looking for. Anybody have it and think differently?
Any other recs for me? TIA!
