Applying again

I applied and interviewed for a position in November.  I didnt get the job but it turns out nobody did.  The job is posted again (dated 1/2).  Would it look dumb if I applied again?

I like the role but it makes me wonder if it is under paid.  The required qualifications are a Bachelors degree yet it has a lot of management tasks associated with it.

I guess if I do apply I need to change up my resume a bit.

Re: Applying again

  • What do you have to lose by applying again? I agree that you should probably look hard at the job description and gear your resume to their needs. Go for it, good luck!

Don't assume no one got the job - they may have hired someone and it didn't work out. Years ago I was called about a month after I applied to a job. I was told the first person they hired didn't work out...

Why is having a BA at odds with management tasks?  Most managers I know only have a BA (though I have an MBA.)

If it is a job managing/supervising other staff, most companies do require previous supervisory experience or will promote from within.
