Anniversary party ideas?

 ask you ladies a few days ago about where to host the party. I want to thank you for the great ideas. I am now trying to decide upon a theme or color ideas.I hosted/coordinated  her 60th birthday party in August 2011 and i did a theme of yellow/white "Daisy" she loves daisies and her favorite color is yellow. She loved it! I  know her wedding was yellow and I'm not sure what kind of flowers she used in her wedding. I don't think it was daisy. I don't want to repeat the same party theme. Should i go with the yellow again(make it look like her wedding) and use the same kind of flower from her wedding:whatever it might be when i find out.Give me your ideas and suggestions.

What year anniversary?  What does HE like?  Is there something they like to do together?  How many people?

it's a 40th anniversary. That's a good idea thinking about what he likes, or what they like doing together. around 45-50 people.

They both like hiking/camping together. They both are scout leaders for many years. but i don't know if i want to incorporate that into a party

The 40th is ruby.  So you could use ruby colors with yellow accents.  I'd try to find out what their flowers were or maybe what the cake looked like.  I know my mom wanted nothing more than lily of the valleys for her wedding.  They were out of season and too pricey so she never got them.  If we ever do a party there would be lily of the valley everywhere.

Maybe a "Camp LOVE" theme would be cool.  You could have a S'Mores station and have trail mix favors.  For decorations you could do stars (like you were sleeping under the stars).  Ha - maybe you could even set up an Anniversary Hike where people follow a path through a bunch of old photos and mementos.

Thats actually a very  cute idea thanks for the "camp love" idea. I think i might look into that more.
