Happy Three Kings Day (Reyes)!
To those who celebrate! I figured I'd get a head start on wishing you well because of the time difference.
Re: Happy Three Kings Day (Reyes)!
It's Twelfth Night in New Orleans and the first Mardi Gras Parade of the year rolls while other people take down their Christmas decorations and have a King Cake. We'll pack up the tree tomorrow, but tonight I have a mock King Cake for a celebration. I made a pan of blondies and dropped a whole almond in the batter to serve as the "baby." I was thinking about icing them with a quick buttercream, but the batter was rich enough on it's own.
Hope IN's celebrations of Epiphany are fun and festive.
I'm going to be sick. I had cream-filled rosc?n (basically a kings cake) filled with what's essentially whipped cream for breakfast with DH's parents, lunch with DH's extended family and dinner with friends. I was craving rosc?n but now I'm glad I won't see it again for a year!
