Combatting Cat Hair

Hello ladies, forgive me if this is asked often, I didn't see it on the first page at least.

I wanted to see what your recommendations where for the best tools to combat cat hair.  I love our cat, but I hate the hair.  I do have the dyson animal, but I was looking into buying the furminator grooming tool.  Reviews on Amazon look really good.  Any comments or other suggestions?

Furminator rocks. Buy it on ebay though - super cheap.

What food do you feed? Better foods mean nicer coats and less shedding. There are some good foods that aren't too expensive out there!

I bought a comb for our cat (himalayan) at Wal-Mart called the "shedzilla" (I think that's what it was...) it was about $9 and it definitely took out alot of the undercoat/dead stuff and his shedding has decreased substantially.

All of this! We should be better about using the furminator, but I don't think we have a ton of hair and we have 5 cats. We feed raw, but feeding any high quality food from the site MaineRocks mentioned will help.
