I need a vacation
I started a new job in September, and I really like it, but it's really stressful and I have really not worked this hard since three years ago when I started my previous job. I really need a vacation and I wanted to go somewhere warm, like Costa Rica, or Aruba. I worry that I will not be given the time because our sales quota is outrageous this quarter and at times like this our company may say no time off unless you reach your numbers. I think I may gomcrazy if I don't take vacation though.
Are you thinking about vacation already?
Re: I need a vacation
I am starting back to work this Monday (the 9th) after being off for my surgery since the 14th of Dec, plus the normal 2 weeks off we get for the holidays, so I think it would be super greedy of me to be thinking 'vacation' right now - lol...however, I am already counting down until the end of this semester and our next long weekend, which isn't until the 3rd Monday in February.
Thankfully I have 2 doctor's appointments this month, so I will have 2 days off
January is so hectic and insane with final projects, classes winding down and then exams...tight timelines for teachers for sure!
Somewhere warm and tropical does sound lovely though! I hope that you are able to sort that out and get some vacation time!! I'll send out some nestie vibes for you!
