Buying A Home
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Thank you for the tips.  I will for sure be going to check out those books.  As for some of the questions/ points you brought up.  I think we are in a MUCH better place now than what we were 2 years ago. We have no debt other than student loans, between DH and I our lowest credit score is 790, and DH is in a VERY secure job now (he had just started there when we were looking before).  We have been budget tracking with Mint for 6 months now.  We know what we need to work on we just wernt.  We have a great broker we will go to again.  We are paying ourselves first with savings now (we wernt before). We are looking for houses with a max of $170.  We know we can be comfortable at that amount.

Thank you again for the help!

PS I have been lurking here off and on for the last 2 year and you gals are AWESOME!
