It's sale time, at least in Spain
Do major post-Christmas sales start where you all are today too? I was looking at the news and there are apparently bad traffic jams at the entrances to the malls in the area. Did anyone go shopping today? How was it? Did you get anything exciting?
I'm waiting until DH has class in the capital on the 20th. I'll ride in with him and use those three hours as an excuse to finally buy new clothes!
Re: It's sale time, at least in Spain
I have bought tons of clothes and jewellery lately, tons, at 50-70% off. I'm amazed how much summer clothes are available on clearance - in January in Norway.
I'm forcing DBF to go out shopping today for work shirts, even though he's hungover. Of course I will use this opportunity to buy stuff for myself. The deals are just so amazing and I really think I've given myself a wee shopping addiction because of it.
We went this morning 11:30 and it was crazy busy. DH couldn't handle the crowds so we were there only a short time. I will have to go by myself this week to look at my stuff. I can't purchase clothes here as I am plus sized so it isn't as much fun.
I still have a sweater from Zara I bought in major post-Christmas/Reyes sales when I was living in Sevilla (in 1996!) for the equivalent of something like $8. I was wearing it when I met DH, so it was a pretty good investment.
I haven't come accross one yet, but there might be one somewhere. I would love the website of the place near you.

The owner is wonderful. I've bought a coat and a dress for a wedding there and I've been very happy with my purchases!
